I think this is the first time I’ve ever understood the words to a Shins song on the first listen (when you watch the video you’ll understand). The track, September comes as a b-side from the first single Simple Song off their upcoming album (Port Of Morrow, released March 20th). I feel like this song, rather than the official single is more like the Shins that I know and love. It’s a pretty good return to form.
